Rulerships, Colours and Meanings

Our calendar revolves around 7 days of the week and each day corresponds to a specific planet even though two of the planets namely the Sun and the Moon are theoretically luminaries not planets. Some of the days are divided and co ruled at night to accommodate the outer planets Uranus, Neptune & Pluto. The 7 colours of the week are spiritual rays chosen to correspond with the 7 days of the week which is dated as far back in the Akkadian language of the Babylonians.

Sunday: Ruled by the Sun (Leo). Recognized as the Holy Sabbath Day, which is intended to be generous, noble and fair. A favored day for many spells and rituals that involve honesty, happiness, healing that will bring joy to others. Many artisans keep this day special to create powerful and potent amulets or talismans to be blessed for good will and prosperity.

Yellow: Sunday (Sun) ~ Inspiration, Attraction, Spirituality. Radiates Confidence Charm, Energy & Vitality

Monday: Ruled by the Moon (Cancer). Begin with offerings to the Lunar Angels for a top start to the week. Commencement a voyage and making improvements in health often happens on Mondays. A great day to assist with protection particularly travel and creating wealth including applying for loans or employment to increase financial gain. Mondays are also favored to banish enemies, curses or other types of negative wicked nastiness.

White: Monday (Moon) ~ Truth, Lunar Power & Vigor, Meditation, Goddess, Virtue, Honesty, Protection.

Tuesday is ruled by Mars (Aries) in the day transforming ruler ship with Pluto (Scorpio) by night, making this day full of abundance, energy, passion and progress. It’s a strong day and night for confrontation whether it’s a physical or spiritual challenge to win someone’s confidence or favor; this also can be a day of chaos, friction and extreme dislike. Saturdays and Tuesdays are preferred for reverse and binding spells, rituals and rites also breaking bad habits or negative vibes.

Thursday is ruled by Jupiter (Sagittarius) and is the co ruler of Neptune (Pisces) in the night. A day of learning and places to go. Activating rituals and spells to assist and fulfill a particular purpose like finding a new residence; pass an exam or driving test. Many a fight or argument can be resolved on this day thus encouraging harmony all-round.

Friday ruled by Venus. Planetary ruler Taurus and Libra and its perfect for loving, being philanthropic and extravagant shopping.
